FAQ

  • Wow! How Much Does It Cost?

Consider this... take the price of private lessons with me ($150 an hour), multiply that by 20 hours and add my follow-up in the private Facebook group + the free bonuses, and you easily reach $4000. But you are not going to pay even 10% of that. The total price for the boot camp + all the bonuses is just $336! It's only $84 a day. Equal to the price of 2 private lessons. That's all.

  • Do You Offer a Payment Plan?

Yes! 4 easy payments of $99 each. You can pay $99 today and then only three more $99 payments.

  • Is There A Guarantee?

Absolutely! You can cancel any time before the webinar starts and get your money back. Not only that, but - If you join the boot camp, do all the exercises I give you and nevertheless don't reach the goals, you'll get a full refund too. No questions asked and no hassles. (And we'll still be friends, I promise :-)) This is your chance to take advantage of a no-risk opportunity to master rest-stroke picking.

  • What Are The Tech Requirements?

The boot camp will all be live via Zoom. So all you need is your laptop, smartphone or tablet, whatever is convenient for you. Your device's camera and microphone are good enough.

  • What If I Can't Attend All The Live Boot Camp Sessions?

Do your best to participate live, because the personal feedback you get from me LIVE is valuable. But, if you must miss an hour or two here and there, you'll have all my teaching recorded for you to view and download.

  • Are We Going to Learn Anything Other Than Accompaniment?

Yes! We will have two "Candy Breaks" a day where I'll be giving you a mini lesson on topics of your choice. 8 mini lessons in all. And, because of the nature of live teaching, there will be many more side benefits, because I will have time to get deeply into each subject.

  • Is It Going To Be Interactive?

Absolutely! I will see you and hear you and you'll get personal feedback from me all the time. You will practice a lot and I'll be following your progress every step of the way.

“Once again, Yaakov's teaching is 2nd to none in this wonderful course on proper LaPompe rhythm! I wish I would have known of him when I started playing Gypsy Jazz a few years ago. LaPompe is a very attention grabbing, foot tapping way to play rhythm. Do not be fooled by this as a player……getting it just right is more illusive than you think and Yaakov is just the man to make sure you get it right! This is the 3rd course I have ordered from him and they just keep getting better. He goes through everything (missing nothing) that you need to know. And……the videos are CRYSTAL clear, even at full screen! It's like having Yaakov in the same room with you. Gosh, I could have saved a lot of money on books if I knew him earlier. The most important thing about this review………..IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU SPEND! IF YOU'RE SERIOUS, SIGN UP FOR IT….YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! THANKS YAAKOV!!!!!!”

“I'd like to share some insight as to why I enjoy Yaakov's courses so much (yes, I have pretty much all of them). I can really learn from his instruction and begin to actually play music. I'm 71 and although I've been in love with the guitar, jazz, and swing Manouche I have never really been able to play well. In addition to the reflexes slowing (Ha Ha, trying to rip through a Django scalar or arpeggiated figure at all of 28% of the speed of the recording). And, I have a pretty serious essential tremor so I'm not always sure I'll hit the string I'm targeting. BUT, none of that matters in the slightest. I enjoy the hell out of my time with the guitar and Yaakov's courses are so thorough, understandable and inspiring that it pushes my abilities such as they are a bit further every month. I have probably 5 instructions on La Pompe but never really heard it in my playing until emulating the instruction on the lessons. In my opinion learning is not more real than that. Yaakov, please keep the wonderful courses coming. David Elkins”

“I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the fantastic lessons. I'm almost overwhelmed at how perfectly suited these lesson packages are for someone at my level (a perpetual beginner, with a better grasp of theory than practice). I'm sitting here in a Tokyo hotel room with time on my hands but no guitar to practice with. Watching some of these lessons is literally making my hands itch! Not everyone that can do can teach. You have a real knack for teaching things in a practical, and more importantly practice-able, way. I honestly thought there was no way I'd ever be able to play gypsy jazz well, but your lessons have truly inspired me to put in the time. I'm looking forward to recording my progress over the next six months or so. I'm also hoping to interest some of my guitar playing friends to the genre and to your lessons in particular. It would be fantastic to play with others also new to the style. I found your website and lessons via your free lessons in YouTube, by the way. That's a fantastic form of advertising. I'd likely never have found your site if I hadn't stumbled across your free lessons. Thank you! -- Rex Walters”

I've found it incredibly useful to understand how to 'really' learn songs and start improvising in a way that sounds interesting and melodic. I've found it far more useful than many other gypsy jazz lessons incl. the Rosenberg Academy, DC Music, JTC, Soundslide and plenty others - those were packed with licks, but no understanding for me. Your course is different. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone serious about improving their technique, improvisation and overall tone. Kyle, gypsy picker from Melbourne Australia”

“Yaakov gives you building blocks, suggestions for practice, live examples, etudes, substitutions, and walks you through the process of learning new songs. He doesn't just teach you licks, but gives you the tools for approaching new materials on your own. Everything is broken down into simple (sometimes deceptively so) chunks onto which you can build and expand. It's definitely worthwhile to take the material slowly and make sure you get it fully under your fingers--which can happen long after you get it mentally--before moving onto the next section. I can't recommend it enough.”

This course is my favorite one and I took Yaakovs advice to practice the arpeggios daily. My experience: the more often you play, the more interesting they get. My handy hint: always connumerate and / or say aloud the musical score. In this way you´ll get a good foundation for the chords secondarily. Arpeggios are the best daily warm-up directly after tuning yout instrument. Believe me: You´ll never wand to do without it again. Andrew Easterday”
